We’re David and Ashley Ertmann, Co-Founders of BlendCraFT & Proud Petaluma locals.
The two of us shared a longtime love for açaí bowls and found them challenging to find here in Sonoma county. We thought this was it, something new we could bring to Petaluma.
We opened BlendCraft on June 11th of 2024. We remain committed to sourcing the finest quality ingredients and serving up our offerings with genuine hospitality.
We’re beyond grateful for the support we’ve received from the community and we are so happy to continue to serve Petaluma!
Meet the Founders
David & Ashley
David moved to Petaluma to attend Sonoma State University, where he studied business and marketing—an experience that sharpened his natural entrepreneurial spirit. Ashley began her journey in interior design but has always felt most at home in the world of hospitality.
Together, we bring a blend of creativity, strategy, and passion that makes BlendCraft more than just a business—it’s a reflection of who we are.
In February 2025, we got married, making this chapter of our lives even more meaningful as we grow both personally and professionally—side by side.
At BlendCraft, we aim to create more than just a quick stop for açaí bowls. We’re here to offer a welcoming space, where every visit feels personal and uplifting. Our goal is to turn first-time guests into regulars, and regulars into friends.
When we’re not at the shop, you’ll likely find David manning the BBQ, Ashley immersed in her latest art project, or the two of us out exploring—taking long walks through town and spending time with our cat, Bowie.
